FOCUS ON YOUR EXPERIENCE ‘IN THE MOMENT’

My work with clients is very collaborative. My style of therapy is process-experiential which means we focus on your experience in the moment. Even if the problem you are discussing is from the past, the way it impacts you is in the present.

As we focus on your experience, I use different interventions to help facilitate integration between the mind and the body. In this way, we take into account not only what you are thinking but what you are experiencing.

It is important to take the body into account when making change as just talking about a problem rarely resolves the issue.

Particular techniques I use include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Self-Regulation Therapy (SRT), Guided Imagery, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
